A good variety of delicious  chutneys and pickles made in small batches by local gourmet chef. Ideal for BBQs, picnics, and to bring out the best in any meal or sandwich. A perfect accompaniment for our delicious breads.

Pear, hazelnut and port chutney – Local Kent pears simmered with apples, ginger, mustard seeds, onions and hazelnuts and finished with a generous dash of vintage port. Ideal with a cheese board, cold cuts and any cold pie.

Scrumion Marmalade – Filled to the brim with hand sliced onions, which have been simmered gently in red wine and balsamic vinegars with soft brown sugar. Sweet and slightly crunchy. The marmalade goes with just about everything!

S.tuck in a pickle lilly – Packed with veggies, all bound in a subtle sweet and sour mustard and turmeric sauce. Try it on a cheese or cold meat sandwich for a lovely piquant crunch. Have it to lift a pork pie or a scotch egg. It really is the great English pickle.

Tomato Chilli Jam – Quite a zing to this one. Fresh, skinned, hand chopped tomatoes simmered with hot chilli flakes, bubbled away to a thick sweet jam that kicks like a mule. Great for lifting a plate of cold cuts or cheese. Add it to a pasta sauce or a goulash. Goes very well with grilled oily fish, also makes a great base covering on homemade pizza.

Apple, date and walnut chutney – English bramley apples slowly cooked away with sugar, mustard seeds and dates, hand broken pieces of walnuts add a nice little crunch. Try it as a great alternative to traditional apple sauce with roast pork for Sunday lunch or with a rich pate or ham hock terrine.
